Shannon Curry Hartmann shannoncg1@gmail.com Statement
Portrait and line underpin my work. Materiality shifts and informs the evolving series; from large scale photograph to drawing to woven 3-D form. I’m interested in the tension and movement the work creates in relation to each other and how it compels the viewer in and, ultimately, makes a human, visual, and conceptual connection.
A dance in triple rhythm - the picture plane as jig.
